When designing my twins nursery, I thought long and hard about how I wanted the room to look and feel. I wanted it to have a very neutral look. I had Boy/Girl Twins, so I wasn’t going for the “Pink/Blue” look, but wanted the room to be neutral in colour and have a warm inviting feel to it.

I decided to go with white, cause you can’t go wrong with the colour white, right? White walls, white crib, white dresser and pops of greys, pinks and blues.

When the room was complete, it felt cozy, warm and clean.

Although baby Zeke and Emmy are too little to bunk together, I can’t wait for them to grow up in their room!

Cribs: IKEA “GONATT” (knobs we’re painted black)
